Dar es Salaam Secures Double Victory at Nane Nane Eastern Zone Exhibitions

Dar es Salaam has achieved an outstanding double victory at the Nane Nane Eastern Zone Agricultural Exhibitions held in Morogoro, reinforcing the region’s growing contribution to agriculture, trade, innovation and technology in Tanzania.

According to information published by TBC Online, the Dar es Salaam City Council emerged as the overall winner for the Dar es Salaam Region before securing the overall championship among the participating councils from the Eastern Zone.

The exhibitions brought together stakeholders from agriculture, livestock keeping, fisheries, commerce, food processing and technology. Participants had an opportunity to showcase innovative products, services and practical solutions designed to improve production, expand market access and create new economic opportunities.

Ilala Leads Dar es Salaam to Victory

Dar es Salaam’s success was driven by the strong performance of Ilala, which represented the city during the exhibitions.

Ilala showcased several economic activities, innovations and business opportunities available across Dar es Salaam. The presentation demonstrated that, despite being Tanzania’s commercial capital, the city continues to play an important role in supporting agricultural value chains, food processing, entrepreneurship and technological development.
